Chicken Bhuri

Ingredients

1 Pound Chicken Breast cut into cubes

1 onion chopped lengthwise 

1 tsp salt 

1/2 tsp red chilli powder (this is based on a strong spice level)

1/2 tsp turmeric powder 

3 tbsp garlic ginger paste 

1/2 tsp seven spices powder or garam masala powder 

Handful of cilantro

1/4 cup oil 

Half a Lime


Directions 

1. In a medium sized saucepan add oil and onions chopped lengthwise. Wait until the onion turn a light brown glazed color. 

2. Add the chicken 

3. Add Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, and garlic ginger paste. Wait 1 min and mix the spices together with the chicken. 

4. Wait for the chicken to cook completely (about 15-20 min) and then shred the chicken with your cooking spoon. 

5. In a separate frying pan add a little oil. Add the shredded chicken and sprinkle some 7 spices powder/garam masala powder to taste. Wait until the chicken becomes a little crispy (about 7 min) Add cilantro on top and squeeze half a lime on the chicken.
