Chicken Kabob

*Feeds 3-4 people 


1 Pound Chicken Ground Breast 

1 ½ tsp of Salt 

1 tsp of Red Chilli Powder 

½ tsp of Turmeric Powder 

½ tsp of Garam Masala 

½ tsp of Cumin Powder 

½ tsp of Coriander Powder 

1 tbs of Lemon Juice 

1 tsp of Black Pepper or you can Sprinkle it on top of the chicken while it’s Cooking 

5 Cloves Garlic and 2 Inch Piece of Ginger/1 ½ tbsp of Ginger Garlic Paste 

½ an Onion chopped 

¼ bunch Cilantro chopped 

½ Cup Oil for Frying

  1. In large a large bowl mix 1 pound Ground Chicken with half an onion chopped, ¼ bunch cilantro chopped, 1 ½ tsp of Salt, 1 tsp of Red Chilli Powder, ½ tsp of Turmeric Powder, ½ tsp of Garam Masala, ½ tsp of Cumin Powder, ½ tsp of Coriander Powder, 1 tbsp of Lemon Juice, 5 Cloves Garlic Chopped and 2 inch Piece Ginger Chopped or 1 ½ tbsp of Garlic Ginger Paste, and 1 tsp of Black Pepper Powder. 
  2. Set Aside for about 30 min. (If you are pressed for time you can fry them right away as well). 
  3. After 30 min put a little water on your hands and remove chicken and form on skewers. If you don’t have skewers you can also shape them into patties. 
  4. Pour ½ cup oil into frying pan and adjust flame to Medium. 
  5. Place the patties into the pan and cook for about 8-10 min while turning them every 2 min. The chicken kabob should be a golden brown color. 
  6. Sprinkle a little black pepper powder on top to add Flavor. (Optional, since you will be using black pepper powder in the chicken marination)

*This dish is best served with Rice/Roti with Tomata ka Salan
