Chicken Karahi

Ingredients

Ingredients 

1 Pound Whole Chicken 

½ cup of Oil

2 Green Chillies 

2 Tbsp Garlic Ginger Paste 

½ Bunch Cilantro Leaves 

1 ½  tbsp Karahi Masala (1 ½ tsp Corainder Seeds, 1 tsp Cumin Seeds, 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder, 1 tsp Turmeric Powder, 1 tsp Garam Masala, 1 tsp Crushed Red Chili Pepper flakes - Mix Together in a bowl)

1 Cinnamon Stick 

3 Cardomum

2 Cloves 

2 Tomatoes 

2 tbsp Yogurt (2%)

1 tbsp Salt 

Directions


  1. Add ½ cup of oil into a high-sided wok on medium high heat and fry the chicken pieces
  2. Add 2 onions and fry until golden. 
  3. Add 1 cinnamon stick, 2 cadomum, 2 cloves, and 2 tbsp of garlic ginger paste or 6 garlic cloves and 2 inch piece of ginger. Mix together. 
  4. Add whole chicken pieces. Sprinkle 1 ½ tbsp of Karahi Masala and  1 tbsp of Salt. Mix together on medium heat.
  5. Add 1 Tomato and 2 Seedles Green Chllies, and 2 tbsp of Yogurt. Mix Together
  6. After the chicken with spices is cooked for 5-7 minutes, add ½ bunch of Cilantro
