1 Pound Lamb

2 Red Onions 

1 Cup Oil (Olive Oil or Canola Oil)

6 Cloves Garlic 

2 Inch Piece of Ginger 

(If you are using paste then 2 tbs of Garlic/Ginger Paste)

2 Limes 

2 ½ tsp of Salt 

1 ½ tsp of Red Chilli Powder 

½ tsp of Turmeric Powder 

½ tsp of 7 Spices Powder (Optional)

1 Medium Sized Tomato

½ Sliced Seedless Jalapeno 

Handful Bunch of Cilantro 

6 Curry Leaves

  1. In a saucepan kept on medium heat, Add ½ cup of Oil and 2 chopped medium sized red onions. Saute till Golden Brown. 
  2. Add 1 Pound of Lamb, 2 ½ tsp of Salt, 1 ½ tsp of Red Chilli Powder, ½ tsp of Turmeric Powder, 6 Cloves of Garlic Chopped, 2 Inch Piece of Ginger Chopped or 2 tbs of Garlic/Ginger Paste, ½ tsp of 7 Spices Powder, and 1 Medium Sized Tomato. 
  3. Mix Together on Medium Heat 
  4. Cover for 10 min. 
  5. After 10 min Squeeze 2 limes into the Lamb. 
  6. Cover and let it cook for about 30 min or until Lamb is tender. 
  7. After Lamb is tender Add ½ bunch of Cilantro and 6 Curry Leaves. Mix together. 
  8. Add ½ sliced seedless jalapeno for Garnish and Enjoy!! 

*This dish is best served with plain white basmati rice.
