Shrimp Parmesan

  • 1 pound raw deviled shrmp
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (You can substitute for butter as well)
  • 3 cloves garlic 
  • 1 1/2 cups 2 percent milk 
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (cornflour) mixed with 1 tablespoon of water
  • Half a lemon
  • Black Pepper to Taste
  • Salt to Taste
  • 1/4 tsp Paprika 
  • 3 red dry chilli peppers 
  • Parsley

  • Heat oil in a large non stick frying pan over medium-high heat. 
  • Add the shrimps and fry for about 2-3 min or until you see it turn a pink color. Sprinkle some salt and black pepper on it. After it is cooked you can transfer into a bowl. 
  • Add the cloves of garlic and fry for about 1 min on low-medium heat. Add the milk and bring to a boil.  After mix cornstarch with water in a cup and add to the milk. Sprinkle some salt, black pepper, and paprika. After the sauce comes to a boil add the parmesan cheese and stir till you see it get a little thicker. 
  • Squeze lemon into the sauce and add the shrimp back into the pan. Add parsley and sprinkle some more parmesan cheese on top. Take off heat and stir in the lemon juice. 
  • Serve over linguine noodles
