Szechuan Chicken - Feeds 2-3 people

Marination Ingredients

1 Pound Chicken Breast

1 tsp Salt 

2 Tsp Flour

3 Tsp Corn Starch

1/2  tsp Sesame Oil 

4 small Pieces of cut ginger

1/2 tsp of Black Pepper Powder 

1/2 tsp of Vinegar

1 tbsp of Soya Sauce low sodium

A few cut pieces of Green Onions 

Oil for Frying

Ingredients to add to the frying pan

5 cloves Garlic 

½ cut red onion

½ bunch green onions 

10 dry red chili peppers 

2 tsp of crushed red pepper 

1/2 cup of soya sauce 

1 tsp of sesame oil 

1 tsp of sugar 

Hint of vinegar 

Directions

  1. Take the ingredients of the marination and combine it with the chicken. Mix Well and Let it sit for 20-30 min. 
  2. Heat oil in a saucepan or frying pan - Place the chicken pieces in the hot oil and fry evenly until golden brown. Remove and set aside 
  3. Leave a little oil in the frying pan and add 2 tsp of crushed red pepper, 10 dry red chilli peppers, and 5 cloves of garlic chopped. Mix together on low flame for about 1 min or until fragrant. Add fried chicken to the pan and add soya sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and a hint of vinegar. (you can also mix these ingredients atogether in up and just pour over)  Add ½ chopped red onion chopped lengthwise and 1/2 bunch green onions chopped. Mix together on medium heat for about 10 min while watching it occasionally.
